The youth group of the Chapel, better known as "The Chaps," seeks to lead middle school and high school students in becoming more committed disciples of Jesus. We strive to mobilize the saints at The Chapel to join in The Chaps ministry, thereby providing service opportunities and reinforcing the vitality of students connecting to their local church. Knowing that families have the primary joy and responsibility of shepherding their children, we're eager through The Chaps to come alongside families and further engage students with the gospel, in the context of a grace-driven and fun community. We also gladly welcome friends of our students, and encourage our students to be proactive in inviting their friends into a gospel community where they can learn more about who God is, who they are, and how they can enter into and grow in a relationship with their heavenly Father. We typically gather bi-weekly on Sunday nights, alternating between host homes and the gymnasium at Oak Hall School, 1700 S.W. 75th Street, Gainesville, FL 32607. Our gatherings include games and recreation, a dinner provided by the church, songs of praise, and teaching from God's Word.
