The youth group of The Chapel, better known as “The Chaps,” provides teenagers a great  opportunity to grow in their knowledge and passion for Christ. Every meeting they enjoy a dinner provided by the church, time spent playing various games (indoors and outdoors), and most importantly time devoted to worshiping and hearing from God’s Word. We believe that the teenage years are a crucial time in life, and God has given us a window of opportunity to raise up the future generations through this youth ministry. The Chapel’s Youth Ministry seeks to help our students become mature followers of Christ who consequently long to impact their world for the glory of the Lord. Through recreation and fun, dinner, worship and teaching, our times together are intended to give every teen an opportunity to connect with God and connect with others.

Most of the time our gatherings are every other Sunday from 5 - 7:30 PM at Oak Hall School. 

Ages:

Any student between 6th-12th grade is welcome to attend “The Chaps.” We have placed utmost priority on being a group that welcomes and treats everyone with love and respect. More specifically, this means that though we have fun and laugh together, we do not have fun at anyone’s expense (unwelcomed teasing, marginalizing, put downs, etc). We make every effort to be a safe group that avoids cliques and welcomes everyone with the love of Jesus Christ.
